Opening this winter, the acclaimed Hotel Arlberg unveils the Arlberg Club House—a new hotspot set to redefine easy luxury in the picture-perfect village of Lech, one of Austria's leading ski resorts. The Arlberg Club House is a smart hub of relaxed style for dining and entertainment, that comes with a highly curated concept store filled with crafted and fashion-conscious stock –the nice things.
Mirroring the opposite street side five-star Hotel Arlberg, the interiors speak of their familiar touch of über comfort and modern alpine accents. Helmed by local visionaries and owners of Hotel Arlberg, Benjamin Schneider and Patrick Krummenacher, the Arlberg Club House is poised to become an essential part of the 'Good Mountain Life'.
The Arlberg Club House is a haven for families, friends, and mountain lovers to connect. This venue celebrates the alpine lifestyle through curated experiences: a luxury Concept Store, a sun-drenched bistro and coffee bar, a refined Mediterranean restaurant, and Margo's Bar—a hidden jewel for après-ski evenings that continue long into the night.
Nestled in picturesque Lech, the Club House's aesthetic is a collaboration between Bernd Gruber's design studio and Kitzmüller Architecture. Every corner is thoughtfully crafted, blending curved forms, natural stone, and rich wood with touches of tradition—timber shingles, coffered ceilings, and Montafon-style doors. The design evokes timeless warmth with luxurious textures and a seamless flow of earthy hues across all levels, creating a sophisticated mountain ambience. The natural stone, sourced from Italy, harmonises with the restaurant's Mediterranean influences, a beautiful nod to the family's legacy and surrounding landscape.
Dining at the Club House is an experience as memorable as the day's adventures on the slopes. Here, contemporary Mediterranean flavours are reimagined with an alpine twist, from fresh pasta, luxurious lobster rolls to grilled Grandes-Pièces in surf & turf style, to name a few. Head Chef Patrick Tober leads the culinary vision, merging Mediterranean elegance with Alpine heartiness and crafting dishes that bring guests together over lively, extended meals. Weekly live music and an inviting atmosphere set the stage for unforgettable dinners that culminate at Margo's Bar—a stylish, intimate venue named after the hosts' daughter.
The Club House's Concept Store, affectionately known as the "Shop Upstairs," is a sanctuary for luxury fashion enthusiasts. Here, guests can explore a curated selection of designs from Paris Fashion Week icons, innovative labels from Japan, Belgium, and beyond, and handcrafted homewares. Emphasising transparency, artisanal quality, and meaningful design creates an inspiring alternative to fast fashion. Iris von Arnim's timeless knits join a lineup by Rianna + Nina, Meta Campania Collective, as well as clothing by Kaptain Sunshine from Japan, fragrances by Perfumer H from London, hats by the Mühlbauer manufactory from Vienna and handcrafted eyewear by HUG from Baden-Württemberg. Lovers of the Aspen and New York-based ski brand Aztech Mountain will be thrilled to get their hands on the largest collection in Europe.
For a refined pause, the bistro offers barista-quality coffee from Austria's renowned TrevoCoffee, brewing up a roasted house blend by Andrea Trevisan (the world's third-ranked coffee roaster) and a balcony with views of the village promenade. A cosy co-working area, flower shop, and variety of drinks and snacks make it the perfect place to unwind or get inspired.
The Arlberg Club House is an evolution of the Schneider family's storied heritage in Lech, an extension of the beloved Hotel Arlberg just across the way. This new space will open 44 weeks a year, revitalising the village beyond its famed winter season and welcoming locals and travellers alike to experience the warmth of year-round alpine hospitality.
As Benjamin Schneider reflects, "Places like these, where friends and family gather, where quality, culinary excellence, and genuine connections are at the heart of everything—that's what makes them increasingly precious."
With a commitment to unforgettable experiences and refined luxury, the Arlberg Club House is set to become Lech's newest must-visit pitstop.
