A small family business, Connolly was known as saddlers and shoe smiths, but as automobiles began to take off, Connolly slipped nicely into bed with the car industry, producing high-quality, beautifully finished leather for car interiors, aligning themselves seamlessly with the golden age of classic cars and racing.
