Ursula and Stephanie Slomski paint in bold gestures – physically and metaphorically. Stephanie, the daughter, is both an artist and a strategist – a rare hybrid of painterly intuition and structured design thinking. Educated at Trier University of Applied Sciences in Germany and further refined at the Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain, her artistic foundation was shaped by luminaries such as architect Gerhard Freising, artist Clas Klaus Steinmann, and design theorist Dr. Giulia Calabretta. The fusion of these influences – architecture, fine art, and strategic design – informed her approach, allowing her to articulate a visual language that is both conceptual and visceral.

Her paintings reflect her insatiable curiosity, pulling in moments from Mallorca, Germany, and France. They are alive with movement, capturing a transient beauty that is neither bound by time nor geography.

Ursula, by contrast, approaches creativity from a tactile, almost sculptural standpoint. A trained tailor with an instinct for construction, she builds compositions from layers of colour and texture. Her abstract works play with contrasts – soft and sharp, fluid and defined – a harmonious tension that is as compelling as it is uplifting.
