The quarterly magazine is a clever and chic companion for those who enjoy exploring the worlds of travel, design, fashion and craft. Launched in 2020 by the creators of Monocle, Konfekt brings a unique lens to the world of luxury.
“The magazine is an intelligent voice in the world of premium media that brings our readers elegance but also arresting reportage and essays on everything from fashion to wellness,” says Sophie Grove, the editor of Konfekt and executive editor of Monocle.
Grove curates the work of leading writers and photographers for intelligent and insightful reportage, that are not for mere flick-throughs. Konfekt’s new travel-themed issue features a seaside holiday guide, from a grande dame on the Ligurian coast to a bolthole on the Greek island of Patmos.
Its drinking and dining section offers a feast of Greek-Italian recipes (best shared alfresco with friends) and tips for summer afternoon sips.
If it’s fashion you’re after, the summer issue looks to modern Portuguese design, whimsical Belgian dresses and South African straw hats – perfect for the next time you get packing.

Between issues, readers can keep up to date with Konfekt Kompakt – its fortnightly newsletter. Meanwhile, Konfekt Korner is a monthly podcast and a voyage of discovery by Grove (who is based in London) and her co-founder Marcela Palek (based in Zürich). In the most recent episode, subjects traverse the meaning of home with purveyor and creator of paint Cassandra Ellis and art deco inspirations with the Swiss-born Miami-based jeweller Kia Schwaninger.
Konfekt prides itself on hosting new ideas and sparkling discussions, so it’s no surprise that the team also offers events and supper clubs for its respected readers. Afterall, Konfekt’scommunity thinks both in and out of the (chocolate) box.
