Moving from The Netherlands to the Greek island of Corfu at 26 years, Bart Jan Manten discovered not only the good-life but perhaps the elixir that simply makes life good.

He was inspired by his 'wow' first taste of Greek extra virgin olive oil "What have I been eating all these years?' Bart was on a mission. He set about learning more about production, traditional processing, and harvesting: how to produce the world's best virgin olive oils. Pioneering in his approach, Neolea is a modern authentic brand distributed in sleek designed bottles and packaging, created by Luminous Design, an Athens, Greece based storytelling studio. The narrative clearly reflects Bart's enthusiasm and youthful approach to a tradition centuries old.

From Messinia, Greece - the oil is extracted from the Koroneiki olive, hand-picked by small-hold farmers in the south of Greece. Straight from the olive grove into the bottle.

The salt line is designed from the principle; it should add the right flavour to every dish. That's why we made six different flavours. Besides Pure, there is a Smoked edition and four different flavours that have vegetables and/or fruits added. No panic, all from mother nature, truly organic.
